Scuderia Ferrari - F1 Team Profile

Being one of the longest and most successful running F1 teams, Ferrari is a dominative force in Formula racing from its history and current form.

Ferrari F2012 - Criticised by enthusiasts for being the first ugly Ferrari for its dipped nose.

Ferrari's records in Formula One racing are formidable with them first entering the sport back in 1950 as a brand new F1 team. They are the only F1 team standing today that competed in the first ever F1 championship that are still in the sport. With Ferrari's experience, they have had huge success over the years: inparticularly with  the early years and 'Schumacher' years. Winning 16 world championships, Ferrari will always be a team fighting at the top for both championships. However, the last few years have been not as successful for Ferrari with a 'bad' car causing Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa to miss out on the opportunity of gaining either of the championships. The breakthrough came back n 2012 where Ferrari aerodynamics found faults in the results produced from wind tunnel testing. Since the correction of this error, Ferrari have been a far better team with both Alonso and Massa looking to fight for each championship respectively till the last race.

Although Ferrari has had good and bad moments throughout its year in the sport, they have always maintained a competitiveness to win which is now being led by the mighty Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa.
